Parental Involvement

The lives of children and their overall experiences are enriched by the contribution of their community; parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends. When we are able to mix the generations children’s experiences and memories are enriched exponentially. A sign-up sheet is included with the enrollment forms. Although we value and encourage your involvement, there is no requirement to do so.

Some possibilities for involvement include:

• Assist in the classroom as you can
• Sharing a special hobby or skill
• Making or repairing materials, toys, or equipment
• Providing materials for the classroom or out door area.
• Read your favorite children’s book or tell a story.
• Share cultural practices or stories.
• Collecting loose parts.
